It's Fall Y'all
This will be a short post (with writing anyway) as I was enjoying my time visiting family again in The States. But the fall colors were too beautiful not to share, so here's the highlights.
I mean, come on. This pumpkin is perfect and it was just sitting on a random post at the orchard!
The pup was purdy too.
We checked out some more animals at the Brookfield Zoo. They were mostly snoozing or dozing off, as it was a pretty quiet day with not a lot of people, which was nice. We got to have a leisurely stroll through the park.
I definitely got my fill of October activities; besides the orchard we went through a corn maze, saw a pumpkin patch, drank apple cider, and enjoyed an awesome homemade music and light show.
Side note- Mom, Brian, and I all entered this maze with candied nuts, hot chocolate, and small post card map. I certainly wasn't paying attention to paths and sheer size of this maze, until I realized the sun real low in the sky. But we managed to weave through all four areas of the maze and exit before running out of snacks and daylight!
A little snippet of the Halloween show -
Unexpected bonus, it snowed on Halloween!
Like reeeallly snowed. So much that we were joking about the meat being put back on the skeleton out front.
One last fall leaf photo 😊
