Separate Adventures - Last Day!

Its happening! Currently waiting for my longest flight, Atlanta to Amsterdam.  This morning was full of excited nerves, but I blew right through check in and security. Both my checked bags were under 70lbs, no worries there.
My first flight was fully booked. They were calling for people to check their bags for free. I thought about it, but I'm always afraid of getting stuck somewhere without clean underwear, ya know? There was no space in the bin above me. And of course, they were all filled with backpacks that could fit under the seat. C'mon people! We all heard the same announcements, put your small bag under the seat! Well, the gentleman next to me ending up helping me by spotting a space a few rows ahead. Success! I stuck my backpack under me (though only halfway since it's a bit big) and settled in.  I knew from Pedro that Delta had some pretty good movies. Of course I ended up watching Godzilla vs Kong for the 5th time. I was almost falling asleep on my first flight, but I wanted to save the sleepiness for this flight.
I was in for a gross surprise getting off the plane. I had grabbed my backpack and slipped it on the handle of my carry on when I felt something wet. I looked and something had smeared from the bottom of my backpack, down the handle of my carry on, and across the side of my jeans. I was by the cockpit when I discovered all this, and the look of disgust and horror luckily caught the eye of a flight attendant. I said something like, "this isn't from me, I don't even know what it is" and she went, "and we don't want to know what it is" and gave me a handful of sanitizer wipes.  Thanks, whoever you are, I appreciated that, because the airport bathroom towels would NOT have cut it.
After I cleaned up, I got some lunch and now I'm waiting at my gate. I can't wait! See ya soon, Babe!
